Stippling is marks left behind from the roller on the paint.
Possible Causes:
- Incorrect roller technique
- Inappropriate roller cover
Solutions:
- Look for the correct roller type for the surface area.
- Wet the roller with the paint for about 5 minutes.
- At the ends of the roller, do not let the paint buildup.
- Make sure to sand and smooth the areas that are going to be repainted before painting.
