Hiding is when the new paint does not completely hide the paint underneath.
Possible Cause:
- Thinning can cause the coating to reduce.
- Applying a thin coat of paint.
- Using lighter paint on a darker color surface.
- Used the wrong roller cover.
- Painting on a surface the absorbs the coating.
Solutions:
- Make sure to use a white primer before applying the paint.
- Fine, out the correct roller cover for the coating being applied and the texture of the surface.
- Prime before painting.
- Let the primer dry properly before applying the paint.
